Since May 8th, 2009 I have been on summer break from classes. I took the opportunity to properly break in my newly acquired (Jan. 09) PlayStation 3. This summer has been filled with many hours of gaming, and came to a close on August 19th, 2009. Today, I have shipped off my PS3 to return home as I myself will be flying back on Sunday.
I thought it would be nice to gather some facts regarding my various gaming sessions this summer to share with other GamerDNA users. (And, admittedly, this also serves as a sort of "progress report" for myself.)
The following is a list of major (and sometimes minor) gaming accomplishments, achievements, etc. from this summer. (In rough chronological order.)
Finished BioShock
Finished Devil May Cry 4
Started and finished Metal Gear Solid 4
Started and finished Far Cry 2
Completed Skate 2 - 100% Trophies - 1st Platinum Trophy
Started Killzone 2 single player campaign (stopped during final mission) + achieved multiplayer rank "General"
Started Grand Theft Auto IV
Started Eternal Sonata (30+ hours in)
Aced all LittleBigPlanet story levels + acquired 100% prizes
Completed Wipeout HD campaign (100% novice gold medals) + Fury expansion campaign (100% novice gold medals)
Completed all MotorStorm: Pacific Rift Festival races (81/96 gold medals)
I am now Trophy Level 7 (62%), with a total of 373 trophies. Below are my totals for trophies acquired between May 8th and August 19th.
Bronze: 169
Silver: 17
Gold: 7
Platinum: 1
Total: 194(/373 = 52%)
Outside of the accomplishments within games themselves, I've also met a lot of other gamers this summer. I have GamerDNA to thank for that. I also thank all of you for being a part of the adventure, and allowing me to - in some way or another - take you along for the ride. You all only caught the end of it, but I appreciate the company nonetheless.
I look forward to continuing the gaming activities, so never fret - I will be back at it next week, albeit at a slightly lower frequency.
It began with BioShock and ended with MotorStorm: Pacific Rift. (And continues next week with inFamous... and Uncharted (again)... and Dead Space... and...)

@TheSmokingManX Go ahead and add me (grumblybear) as I won't be on my PS3 until Tuesday or so.
I'd like to 3rd @ChangeAgent and @TheSmokingManX in saying... thanks for sharing. Very cool.
I look forward to more gaming activities from all of you.
Please add me to your PSN friends, my PSN name is LuckyLuxy
Look forward to your future updates!
I also want to say thanks to YOU for sticking with US while we navigate the treacherous waters of Internet Startups, new technologies, and social networks. We've certainly had our share of downtimes, slow times, and feature false-starts, but I think with the help of folks like you, we have been honing in on what we can do to make this site the place for gaming and gaming conversations.
We have been hard at work on a new deployment (should launch on Tuesday) and we had to scramble last minute to get in PSN data, but we are siked to do so, and you are the reason why. Finally PSN players can get some of the automation loving that only PC and XBOX players had on our site previously.
So thanks again, great post, and I hope you get lots more gaming in during the coming months!
